Juventus hand Pogba’s no.10 shirt to Dybala as Man Utd transfer draws ever closer

Thursday August 4 2016

Paul Pogba‘s move from Juventus to Manchester United has been nearing completion for some time, and now Adidas have dropped another hint of his departure.

The 23-year-old’s world-record £100 million transfer back to the club he left in 2012 has dominated headlines for the past month, but fans have had to remain patient for now.

There have been a succession of social media hints, quotes and pictures linking him to the move and now Juventus shirt maker Adidas appear to have given his shirt number to another player.

Pogba wore the number 10 shirt for the Turin club last season, but now striker Paulo Dybala has been given the number for the coming season.

Dybala, like Pogba, starred for Juve last season, scoring 19 goals to fire Max Allegri’s side to a fifth successive title.

However, the Argentine striker wore number 21 last season and barring a strange reversal of situation it seems the 22-year-old has inherited Pogba’s number.

Pogba has been away in America enjoying his holiday while his agent Mino Raiola finishes negotiating his deal with United.
