Bad news for Man Utd? Juventus to hold contract talks with super-agent for high-profile!

Sunday July 17 2016

Juventus will meet with Paul Pogba‘s agent, Mino Raiola, in the coming days as they look to offer the midfielder an improved five-year contract at the club.

The France international’s future is up in the air at the moment, as former club Manchester United continue to be linked with a stunning £100 million move for their former player.

The colossal midfielder, who left Manchester United in 2012 for just £800,000 to join Juventus, has developed into one of the most formidable midfielders in world football over the last four years.

Talk about Pogba’s future continues to be the subject of debate, but Raiola revealed earlier this week that Juventus were actually keen on offering his client a new deal.

And Goal are now reporting that Juventus do indeed want to do that and are keen on offering Pogba a deal worth between €6 million and €7 million per year.

That would be a significant rise on Pogba’s current €4.5m-a-year contract which expires in 2019 with the Old Lady, but it would also be less than the reported €14-16 million he would apparently earn at Manchester United.

Whilst the club understand that Pogba may be tempted to return to Old Trafford, the report reveals that the Bianconeri hope their good relationship with the Frenchman will benefit them.

Juventus’ sporting director Giuseppe Marotta revealed on Friday that there had been “no contact” with Manchester United over the transfer of Pogba.
