Everton bid €30 million for Juve’s Daniele Rugani: The developments

Tuesday July 12 2016

With Andrea Barzagli retiring from the national team, the most obvious replacement is fellow Juventus defender Daniele Rugani.

Rugani may not have played a lot for Allegri during the first few months of the season, but he really managed to come around after January. The 21-year old defender has been courted by top sides like Roma and Napoli for months, especially during the time where he did not feature frequently.

According to Premium Sport, Everton has placed €30 million on the table for the promising Italian. Juve’s response? A straight forward and direct no. They are simply not willing to part ways at all with the young Italian.

Spanish side Villarreal had even conducted a search and had outlined Rugani as a possible alternative should Musacchio be sold, but again Juventus are not willing to negotiate.

With Juventus financially restored, the club can afford to refuse any and all offers for their star players, or ones they see a lot of potential in.
