Fabio Capello: Juventus is stronger now

Fabio Capello urged Juventus to “go for the Champions League” and feels they are “even stronger” after Paul Pogba’s departure.
The legendary Coach spoke to the Corriere dello Sport after Pogba completed a world record €105m plus €5m bonuses transfer to Manchester United.
“For us Italians, competing with Barcelona and Real Madrid on the transfer market is impossible. The English clubs, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain can, because they have enormous economic resources.
“Having said that, there’s a big difference between La Liga and the Premier League. You don’t get the likes of Leo Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale, Luis Suarez or Antoine Griezmann in England.
“The arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Manchester United did a little something to close that gap.”
Pogba has left, but Capello doesn’t see that as a problem considering the arrival of Miralem Pjanic, Gonzalo Higuain, Marko Pjaca, Dani Alves and Medhi Benatia.
“Juventus are even stronger now than last season. This is a team that has to go for the Champions League. I still think the ‘real’ Juve is only with a three-man defence, as they are a little shaky with four at the back.
“Napoli are a rugged side, but it’s difficult to win the Scudetto if you don’t score enough goals, so losing your top scorer makes everything more complicated.
“Roma convinced me with their moves on the transfer market, as they brought in the right players for them.”
