Euro 2016: Six Juventus players named to Italy's final 23-man Euro 2016 roster

Six Juventus players have made Italy's 23-man roster for Euro 2016 on Tuesday: Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonucci, Gianluigi Buffon, Giorgio Chiellini, Stefano Sturaro and Simone Zaza.

 

"The choices are made, we reflected a great deal and picked the best at our disposal. As far as I am concerned, I have some pretty precise ideas," head coach Antonio Conte said during the announcement of the roster.

 

The Azzurri will begin its European Championship run June 13 against Belgium and Parc Olympique Lyonnais in Lyon. They also play Sweden and Ireland on June 17 and 22, respectively, in Group E play.

 

Italy has made the tournament final in two of the last four tournaments, falling to France in 2000 and Spain in 2012.
