Vidal to ask for United move?

Reports continue to link Arturo Vidal with Manchester United and the latest suggest a transfer request is due and a medical already taken.
The Chile international has been increasingly linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer, but Juventus have maintained since meeting with the 27-year-old that they want to continue together into next season.
Even so, reports persist in suggesting the midfielder is in line for a switch out to the Premier League side, to follow yesterday’s assertions from Britain that his agent was continuing to work in that direction.
The Daily Express today are running the line that Vidal will inform Juventus of his intention to leave the club within the next 24 hours. It is understood that this news will be delivered through Vidal’s representative Fernando Felicevich.
Meanwhile, Chilean outlet El Mercurio follow up their belief that a verbal agreement with United is in place by suggesting that the player has already undergone medical tests with officials from the English club.
They report that these tests were carried out in Chile at the weekend, so that Red Devil officials could understand Vidal’s recovery from knee surgery undergone in May.
El Mercurio also report that Juve have set a deadline of August 6 to negotiate any potential exit for Vidal.
