Vidal staying put at Juve

Thursday January 30 2014

Chile midfielder Arturo Vidal has insisted that he is not thinking about leaving Juventus.

Vidal has been strongly linked with Manchester United, but he says he is not looking for a transfer away from Turin.

The 26-year-old was speaking at a gala dinner after being named in the Serie A team of the year.

"Will I leave? No, I will definitely stay in Turin," the midfielder told Rai Sport.

"I've scored 10 important goals for the team this season but I must give thanks to my team-mates."

Team-mate Andrea Pirlo, who is in talks over extending his stay at Juve was named alongside Vidal as he was crowned Player of the Year by the Association of Italian Footballers.

When asked about his future, he simply said: "I stay at Juve."
