Vucinic talks continue

Thursday January 30 2014

Mirko Vucinic will train away from Juventus' first team until after the transfer window due to the fact he could be leaving the club.

Vucinic saw a move to Inter Milan collapse last week when a proposed swap deal with midfielder Fredy Guarin fell through.

The 30-year-old Montenegro striker is out of favour with Juventus and the Serie A champions are prepared to let him leave this month.

Arsenal are understood to have an interest, but only want a loan, whilst Southampton have also been linked with Vucinic on the back of Juve's reported interest in their Italian front-man Dani Osvaldo.

Vucinic's agent Alessandro Lucci has now confirmed to Sky Sport Italia that the striker could leave this week, even though he has not asked for a transfer.

"Vucinic spoke with (Antonio) Conte and they have agreed he will train apart in these last days of the transfer market because he is involved in some possible negotiations," confirmed Lucci.

"But I want to say that Mirko has never asked to be sold."
