Juve make first Golovin offer
Tuesday June 19 2018
Juventus have made their first formal offer for Aleksandr Golovin, but it hasn’t yet reached CSKA Moscow’s €25m asking price. Sky Sport Italia transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio claims the first official proposal has been faxed over today. It is worth €17m plus performance-related bonuses, but CSKA are already set to turn it down. Another improved bid is lined up from the Bianconeri, offering €18m plus bonuses and crucially a percentage of a future sale. Several Premier League sides are also interested in Golovin, including Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool. However, Juventus have been tracking the 22-year-old for some time and already agreed personal terms with the player, which gives them the upper hand. The midfielder scored seven goals with six assists in 43 competitive games this season, but also found the net with two assists in Russia’s World Cup opener against Saudi Arabia.
